InvestorFlow™ Launches Qualified Matching Service

Software-as-a-service solution satisfies IRS requirements for secondary transactions

PORTSMOUTH, NH (June 10, 2009) – InvestorFlow™ (“InvestorFlow”), a leader in providing front-office applications for the investment management industry, today announced the launch of InvestorFlow QMS, its qualified matching service for secondary sales.

InvestorFlow QMS allows general partners to create spare capacity if secondary sales breach 2 percent of the fund’s commitments. By using the service, hedge fund, private equity, and venture capital firms can increase the transfer of limited partner interests an additional eight percent without experiencing negative tax consequences.

InvestorFlow QMS is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) application that allows general partners to screen potential buyers, and then matches qualified buyers with qualified sellers in a neutral environment. The service streamlines the workflow requirements for investor relations professionals and removes them from the role as brokers of the transaction.

Neither the buyer nor the seller pay anything to use the InvestorFlow QMS solution – the general partner pays the service’s subscription fee. Intermediaries such as lawyers and brokers benefit as well, since the InvestorFlow QMS platform ensures regulatory and tax compliance. InvestorFlow QMS is a module of the InvestorFlow suite of integrated marketing and investor relationship management applications.
